About Our Firm

Steinbach & Associates, P.C.  is comprised of an intelligent team of lawyers committed to helping our business and estate clients achieve and surpass their goals. Based in Hackensack, New Jersey, the firm also maintains an office conveniently located near Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.

With over 40 years of significant New York and New Jersey experience and a focus on business law, founding partner Harold Steinbach provides senior representation to clients throughout the metropolitan area. His Martindale-Hubbell AV rating* (the most prestigious peer-review status in the legal profession) is the highest possible rating and reflects the highest ethical standards and legal ability. Harold is a graduate of Bronx Science, SUNY Binghamton and NYU Law School. Prior to forming his own firm 22 years ago, Harold spent 21 years with three very prestigious New York City law firms: Flemming Zulack Williamson Zauderer (two years as an associate); Kleinberg Kaplan Wolff & Cohen (six years as an associate and 11 years as a partner) and Parker Duryee Rosoff & Haft (two years as a partner). For a number of years, Harold headed the corporate department at Kleinberg Kaplan. In his commitment to legal education, Harold has published articles and lectured to bar associations.

With our concept of a “virtual law firm,” we also utilize professional relationships developed over many years to bring additional expertise and resources to bear on specific matters as appropriate. This approach allows us to provide the best match of legal talent to particular clients and matters.

*AV, BV and CV are registered certification marks of Reed Elsevier Properties Inc., used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards, and policies. Martindale-Hubbell is the facilitator of a peer review rating process. Ratings reflect the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell ratings fall into two categories – legal ability and general ethical standards.
